Every vintage rug is one-of-a-kind and handmade from all-natural fibers. Our vintage rugs are rich in design, and color, and adorned with symbols traditionally passed on from mother to daughter.

Our naturally-aged rugs are a variety of 50 to 75-year-old traditional rugs that are washed and purposefully distressed while maintaining their structural integrity. We embrace the imperfections of vintage pieces – they are well-loved works of functional art infused with history and charm that add incredible richness to modern spaces.

Alder is a genuine hand-knotted Demirdji rug from Turkey. Demirdji rugs are among the most sought of all oriental rugs from Turkey and are distinctive in design. The majority of our oriental rugs were handmade over 60 years before they found their way to us. We strive to represent the character of each rug and believe that the age of vintage rugs adds to their distinctive beauty and the stories behind them. Overdyed & Distressed Vintage Rug Collection

Our Overdyed & Distressed Vintage Rug Collection consists of vintage Turkish rugs from the 1940s through the '70s that have been reworked and refashioned for a contemporary customer. Vintage rugs are dyed and distressed to create this beautiful, ethereal look, accelerating the aging process. This is done through a cycle of dyeing and washing. Colors blend, textures soften, and an infusion of depth is the end result.
