I see this piece has sold out – when will you be getting more?

All of our rugs are one-off pieces that we have carefully chosen for their unique character, so once sold we cannot re-order the exact same pieces again. Are they new or used?

We only sell vintage (used) pieces. Our vintage items are professionally cleaned, reworked, and repaired (if needed), but some sign of usage is to be expected. We believe the imperfections add to each piece's beauty, character, and story.

Where are you based?

Our company is based in Miami, Florida, and Istanbul. We have warehouses both in the U.S. and in Turkey. With our safe trading solutions, we deliver our products to over 30 countries worldwide within just a few days.

What are your rugs made from?

All of our rugs are made of natural and sustainable materials including (but not limited to) wool, cotton, and silk. Most of our pieces are made from the finest quality wool, an extremely durable and resilient material with balancing thermal insulation properties – meaning it is warm in winter and cool in summer. Wool is also hypoallergenic, absorbs harmful pollutants, and is easy to clean.

How long do your rugs last?

Like most things, our pieces require regular maintenance in order to last as long as possible. This includes regular vacuuming, rotation, and periodic professional cleaning. As all of our rugs were made from premium, natural materials (not synthetic) they will easily outlast similar synthetic products.

Do you do wholesale and offer trade discounts?

Can you place a hold on this product for me?

Given the nature of our handmade and one-of-a-kind vintage products, we can only hold a product for 12 hours. If we do not hear from you within 12 hours we will release the product to the public. For product hold inquiries, please email hello@merakrugs.com

How long will it take to receive my order?

Unless otherwise noted, all orders are packaged and shipped from our warehouse within 2 business days after your purchase. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an automatic email from hello@merakrugs.com with the tracking details so you can follow the status of your delivery. Shipping time is usually 3-6 business days to most U.S. capital cities, and up to 10 business days for international deliveries via FedEx.

How much does shipping cost?

We offer free domestic shipping within the United States on all orders. Please note that local taxes (if applicable) will be added at checkout for all deliveries within the United States. Our customers in the US do not need to pay any additional import duties or fees.

We offer free international shipping on all orders. Prices are listed in US dollars and do not include import duties, which may vary by country. Additional duties, taxes, or fees may be required and must be paid directly to FedEx before receiving your package. If charges exceed C$75, £75, €75, or AU$ 75, please email us a copy of the receipt, and we will refund the difference to your credit card. Can I return an item?

We want you to be happy with your purchase. You can return your items to our warehouses in the U.S. or Turkey within 14 days of receiving the order for a refund on the merchandise cost. All rug returns will incur a 15% restocking fee. Alternatively, you may return for a store credit in which you will receive the full sale price less the cost of shipping both ways.
