OVERVIEW

A 1960s Persian rug from Malayer. A large diamond-shaped field is filled with a tightly repeated floral lattice of small blossoms and geometric forms, centered by a smaller diamond medallion. Broad decorative borders frame the composition, and substantial fading softens the intricate pattern into a low-contrast surface.

COLORS & DETAILS

A light beige and ivory ground is layered with taupe and light brown patterning, while faint light blue accents appear along the borders and within the field.
