OVERVIEW

Two vertical columns of repeating octagonal motifs run the length of the field on this 1960s Persian runner from Shiraz, separated by a central chain of small diamonds. Numerous narrow geometric borders surround the composition with tightly repeated lattice and chevron forms, giving the runner a highly structured, densely patterned character.

COLORS & DETAILS

A deep navy field is bordered by dense burgundy and coral bands, with ivory and brown geometric details creating a strong, tightly patterned contrast.
